ASPCA Animal Poison Control

The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC) is your best resource for any animal poison-related emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you think your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, call (888) 426-4435. A $65 consultation fee may be applied to your credit card.

Pet Poison Helpline

Pet Poison Helpline is a 24 hour animal poison control helpline that is able to answer all of your questions about possible poisoning in one of your pets. There is a one time $49 consultation fee as they receive no state or federal funding. The Pet Poison Helpline has toxicologists, internists and criticalists on staff to help you and your veterinarian receive the care that they need after a poisoning.

Annie’s Healing Hearts

Annie’s Healing Hearts is a private cremation service serving all of Central Oregon. They offer private and general cremations. Remains will be returned to owners in private cremations only. If you are interested in having an at home euthanasia, Michelle or Dale, the owners of Annie’s Healing Hearts, will pick up your deceased pet at your house and return his/her remains to you or to Riverside Animal hospital where you can pick them up at your convenience.

All payment is due when services are rendered. We do not have a payment plan at Riverside Animal Hospital, however we do take cash, checks, credit and debit cards. We also accept Care Credit which is a medical credit card that offers interest free financing for 6 months. You may apply at our hospital, on line or over the phone.

Their are also many insurance companies that now insure pets. In veterinary medicine, the owner is responsible for paying the bill and collecting from the insurance company.

International Pet Travel Requirements

When travelling with your pet(s), there may be animal health requirements specific for that destination. As soon as you know your travel details, contact us to assist with the pet travel process. Factors to consider may include meeting time frames for obtaining a health certificate, updating vaccinations, diagnostic testing, or administration of medications/ treatments.
